MAKING A POROTITI 

To make a porotiti we need a big button and a string. We put the string in the hole of the button and pull it out the other. The string must be diagonal on the holes. Then we tie a knot on the ends of the string.

We can put the porotiti in our neck and we called it a "button necklace" and some children called it a "music necklace".

We had lots of fun watching the button spin.

We spin the porotiti round and round and we can hear a brushing sound.
