Sharing about our special cultures

This week we had two parents come to talk to us about their culture.

Johnny's mum along with Johnny and Hanna sang a song in Vietnamese.

We learned to count from one to ten in Vietnamese.

These are the words to say Good morning, Thank you and Goodbye in Vietnamese.

We could hear Johnny's mum talking to Johnny and Hanna in Vietnamese.

Ally made her identity poster and her mum and brother helped her.

Ally's mum pointed to us on the map where Tonga is.

She also read us some Tongan language words and showed us the "Heilala" flower.

A big "Thank you" to the two parents who came to share about their culture and language.

  1. Thank you parents for coming and sharing your cultural identity with the children in room 3. The children look like they are having a fun time singing special songs and learning words in different languages. Wonderful photos! Thank you from Mrs Robyns
